Five Places, One Form
Size: 200×200 / 140×90 / 90×90 / 90×90 / 40×35 cm
Material: wool/cotton & mirror
Five locations, traced by hand onto transparent paper and layered until the individual streets dissolved into something new — a pattern that reads as a map and yet no longer is one. That tension became the foundation for the entire installation.
Five textile pieces hang across two walls, each developed from the shared pattern. Dark braided threads connect the works to one another, carrying paths from one piece into the next. One work moves around a corner, refusing the boundary between surfaces.
A room where people arrive as strangers and leave with a sense of whether they belong — it felt like the right place for work built from identity.
