Royah – sign in a dream
Size: 210 x 240 cm
Material: wool/cotton/silk & mirror
Royah is created by a collaboration with various AI text and image-based tools. My thoughts and visions meld with the AI’s algorithms, generating a myriad of images. Those that resonate most with my essence and thoughts are then reimagined, sketched, and brought into tangible existence by my hand.
Royah is a wall object that departs from the geometric form and consists of four different types of wool in varying shades of blue, which were then dyed using two different mirror colors – clear and blue. The various materials and processing methods give Royah further depth and dimensionality. Mirrors are like silent observers that capture thousands of moments. They symbolize the foundation of generative AI wich is feeded by the huge amount of images/moments of our lives.
